Job Description

The Department of Psychology at the University of Houston-Clear Lake (UHCL) is seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Psychology in Cognitive or Behavioral Neuroscience.

For this position, priority will be given to candidates with research interests broadly in areas of learning and memory, and that complement existing faculty research. Facilities for small animal research are available. The successful candidate will primarily teach courses in learning theory, biopsychology, critical thinking, research methods, and statistics.

The selected applicant will teach three classes each semester (Fall and Spring), establish a productive research program involving both undergraduate and graduate students, academically advise students, and participate in school and departmental committees. The successful candidate must be willing to teach at UHCL satellite campuses and online.

Minimum Requirements

Must have a PhD by time of employment.
